Staff:

GM Gregory Serper Greg faced eight World Champions during his illustrious chess career and this speaks volumes of his experience. His chess resume has too many titles to list (winning the World Open and World Junior Championships are fine examples). Now he mostly teaches chess and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
GM Joshua Friedel Josh’s friendly personality and pleasantly engaging teaching style put students at ease. The opposite is true of Friedel’s opponents: they fear his excellent opening preparation, deadly attacks, and merciless technique. In addition to being a chess professional, Josh is a fantastic writer and a superb tennis player.
FM Alex Betaneli Having won multiple national events, Alex looks forward to finally becoming an International Master by the end of 2010. Meanwhile, he enjoys unparalleled success as a professional instructor: his students consistently win state and national titles. Alex’s hobbies include cooking, tennis, and yoga.
NM Erik Santarius Erik learned the en passant rule at the age of 14, but at the age of 22 he is one of the country's strongest masters. He won State Championship twice and has become a prominent chess coach in the last several years. Erik’s strongest student is WI Junior Champion and his other protégés win titles with impressive regularity. In his spare time, Erik listens to the world-famous Great Courses series and enjoys gourmet foods.

NM Ashish Vaja Ashish specializes on creating effective teaching techniques with an emphasis on group instruction. His students won hundreds of trophies and earned thousands of rating points. Ashish is currently working on a book that ties together chess, skydiving, and his newly acquired hobby of JiuJitsu fighting.
